Personally, I believe that consciousness is all-encompassing and permeates our very beings, making us one with the All. It is Light. It is all things that widen the chasm and sink us into deeper states of awareness and realization of the Truth. It is Love. It is remembrance of our True Nature, it is Is-ness and complete presence in the Now moment. It is that Permanence that remains in the background, while all else comes into existence and fades away. It is what we must wake up to gradually, in this life. To be conscious is to be Awake, Aware, and to live in Truth. Consciousness Is, and nothing else. 100131
