Personally, I believe that consciousness is all-encompassing and permeates our very beings, making us one with the All. It is Light. It is all things that widen the chasm and sink us into deeper states of awareness and realization of the Truth. It is Love. It is remembrance of our True Nature, it is Is-ness and complete presence in the Now moment. It is that Permanence that remains in the background, while all else comes into existence and fades away. It is what we must wake up to gradually, in this life. To be conscious is to be Awake, Aware, and to live in Truth. Consciousness Is, and nothing else. 100131

Girl:"...What I'm trying to say is that somehow I believe... reincarnation is just a-- a poetic expression of what collective memory really is. There was this article by this biochemist that I read not long ago, and he was talking about how when a member of a species is born, it has a billion years of memory to draw on. And this is where we inherit our instincts."
Guy:"I like that. It's like there's, um, this whole telepathic thing going on that we’re all a part of, whether we’re conscious of it or not. That would explain why there's all these, you know, seemingly spontaneous, worldwide, innovative leaps in science, in the arts..."

Morphogenetic Fields

“The idea is that there is a kind of memory in nature. Each kind of thing has a collective memory. So, take a squirrel living in New York now. That squirrel is being influenced by all past squirrels. And how that influence moves across time, the collective squirrel-memory both for form and for instincts, is given by the process I call morphic resonance. It’s a theory of collective memory throughout nature. What the memory is expressed through are the morphic fields, the fields within and around each organism. The memory processes are due to morphic resonance…”

-Rupert Sheldrake (Plant Physiologist)

“Morphogenetic fields can be used to describe how the human consciousness is shared. The Morphogenetic fields therefore play the main role in the idea that humanity at one point in time will go thru a dramatic collective shift in consciousness. A shift that will happen when the critical mass for a shift is reached, or in other words, when a certain number of spiritually awakened individuals are reached.”
